Coach

I could barely do pushups when I started CrossFit. Two years in, I benched 150 at a local competition. I don’t lift as heavy as other athletes but CrossFit has helped me realize my body is capable of more than I thought possible. For me it’s not about the comparing stats but celebrating personal progress and helping other athletes do the same. About Coach

When I first started CrossFit I remember struggling to pick up and move the plyometric box on my first day. Despite being a competitive gymnast for 9 years, I neglected my health in my early 20s, and starting CrossFit was a humbling experience. Since then, CrossFit has helped me become stronger, more disciplined, and confident in all areas of life.

Turning Point

I grew up playing sports. There was never a time in my childhood that I wasn’t physically active. Then college happened and then my first job. After a few years of couch potato-ing, I randomly decided to go run a mile. It took me 11 minutes and I started seeing stars 2 minutes in. I remember calling my mom (a former triathlete and avid runner) and her telling me, “You can still be an athlete after college and into adulthood. Just because you have a job and career ambitions doesn’t mean you compromise your values. You value health and fitness. It’s who you are.” I heard about CrossFit and knew it incorporated gymnastics elements that I would enjoy and decided to give it a try.

Motivation & Passion

We’re all busy and life is hard. In the simplest terms, CrossFit is one of the most efficient ways to improve your fitness. All you have to do is walk in the front doors give an hour of your time and walk out a little better than how you walked in. I’m here for the athletes who want to get 1% better each day and see the compounding effects of that effort, from the seasoned athlete or someone who is entering the gym for the very first time. And if you want to get better a handstands…I got you!
